Negative Cuts / Undercuts

A negative cut or undercut is a recess in stone where the interior of the cut is wider than its opening. Also right-angle internal corners at the back of recesses — where two flat surfaces meet at 90 degrees inside the stone, inaccessible to any straight cutting tool
