T-Shaped Pillars

T-shaped stone pillars found at Göbekli Tepe and Karahan Tepe in Turkey (c. 9500 BCE) and in Menorca's taula sanctuaries (c. 1000 BCE). In both traditions they appear centrally and within the enclosure walls — and in both cases they are astronomically oriented. Separated by 8,000 years and 2,500 kilometres.
